Description
This old factory building was once the bread and butter of its community as a world leader in heat and power production from the 1890’s through 1992. Its products may be found in many communities across the nation and waterways.
The Minnie-Ha-Ha at Lake George New York is just one of currently operating steamboats that leisurely transports site-seeing tourists as in time past; powered by a boiler built within these very walls.
The company was one of many to become a target of lawsuits concerning Mesothelioma.
Once a world leader in the production of heat and steam products, its buildings now lay vacant and vandalized.
It has become great subject matter for both graffiti artists and photographers even to the extent of inspiring shows dedicated to the works
